EF-1 Rated Tornado Damage In Eau Claire County

WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – The National Weather Service confirms at least 4 tornados touched down and did destruction in southern Eau Claire county Monday evening.

The NWS Twin Cities reported an EF-1 tornado touched down northeast of Mondovi in Buffalo County, and crossed into Eau Claire County briefly before lifting.

A second EF-1 touched down for a moment, south of Allen and west of Foster.

Another tornado with at least EF-1 damage occurred south and east of Augusta.

A brief EF-0 touched down near Hale Corner.

The NWS Green Bay is still assessing damage on other tornadoes tracked in northern Wisconsin and will share updates soon.
