Recombobulating on the radio (Week of May 11-17)

Here’s what you might have missed from this week’s radio appearances.

As I do every Friday at 10 a.m., I joined Jane Matenaer and Greg Bach on “Matenaer On Air” (9-11 a.m. on the Civic Media network, 540 AM in Milwaukee). This week, we talked about my latest column on the 23 Wisconsin state legislators to watch for the 2025-2026 session and about how Ron Johnson is opposing the Trump-backed “big beautiful bill,” but for the wrong reasons.

Every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., I join “The Maggie Daun Show” (4-6 p.m. on the Civic Media network, 540 AM in Milwaukee). This week, we talked about Robin Vos’ dismissive, awful comments about last week’s tragic fire in Milwaukee.

On Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m., I join “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” (6-9 a.m. on the Civic Media network, 540 AM in Milwaukee). This week, Matt Rothschild filled as guest host and was joined by Angela Lang, executive director of Black Leaders Organizing for Communities (and recent GOLD award-winner at the Milwaukee Press Club!), as co-host.

This week, we talked about the Republican-controlled Joint Finance Committee removing 600+ items from Tony Evers’ proposed budget.
